Evensong was Mrs. Rockefeller's favorite guest room. It is a lovely, welcoming bedroom filled with sunlight in the day and aglow with lamps and firelight in evening. A wood-burning fieldstone fireplace stands in the middle of a large, windowed alcove facing the king bed.

Original oil paintings hang on the mellow hand-waxed walls. A glass-topped dressing table has a classic curved stool, a large, elegant mirror and flattering lamps- perfect for leisurely dressing before the evening festivities.

The bathroom was recently renovated with original sinks and his-and-her medicine cabinets. With all black and white tile and chrome fixtures, Evensong features a deep soaking clawfoot tub and walk-in double shower with a center rain shower.
